Managing Director

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare design and having won 3 prestigious Pinders Healthcare Design Awards. Chris’s main experience has been in designing care homes and care villages for the elderly. Chris has gained a knowledge second to none in designing for the elderly care sector.

Gwilym McGivern

Senior Architect

Gwilym has over 10 years’ experience working on the design and delivery of complex projects throughout the UK and Australia. He now heads up TDC Architects Melbourne office and works closely with clients and design teams to ensure projects are designed effectively across all stages of development.

Gwilym brings a pragmatic, can-do attitude to all projects and enjoys providing design solutions to resolve problems and deliver outstanding schemes.

 

Outside of the design studio Gwilym enjoys adventure travel, most sports and catching the sunset with a cold beer or two!

Richard is an award winning architect with extensive expertise both internationally and domestic with over 15 years of experience within the elderly care sector.

Yousuf Karimi

Architecture assistant (part II)

Yousuf joined TDC Architects after gaining his master’s degree in architecture from RMIT University Melbourne.

 

Yousuf’s major project at university was a Community Centre for Afghan Migrants in Melbourne, Australia to showcase Afghan heritage, culture and hope for life.

 

Yousuf has previously worked at an Australian architectural practice that specializes in residential projects.

Following Graduating Northumberland University Alastair is undertaking a year out with TDC Architects gaining invaluable experience in a range of projects. 

Tom Proverbs

Architectural Assistant (Part II)

Tom  joined TDC Architects following gaining his Masters in Architecture (RIBA Part 2) from the University of Lincoln.  Tom has previously worked in Architectural Practices within the Sports, retail, education and retirement villages sectors and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for cutting edge design.

Andrew Farr 

Interior Design

Andrew has been involved in the world of commercial interior design for over 30 years.  Andrew loves the challenge of bringing together all the different elements and materials with consideration for lighting, and spatial awareness.  With a speciality in hospitality, retail and healthcare.

Nicky Shaw

Architectural Assistant (Part II)

Nicky  joined TDC Architects following gaining her Diploma in Architecture (RIBA Part 2) from The Mackintosh School of Architecture.  Nicky has previously worked in Architectural Practices within the Leisure, Housing, Education and Healthcare.  Nicky is also an experianced ultra cyclist having completed many self supported multi day races.
